Ukraine and Germany signed an agreement on military cooperation
Germany and Ukraine have signed a strategic agreement on military cooperation worth 5 billion euros. The agreement provides for the financing of the production of long-range weapons directly on the territory of Ukraine. The arrangements between the defense ministers of both countries were made during a meeting in Berlin.
The agreement includes a wide range of military support, but the main focus is on financial support for Ukrainian production of long-range weapons. The first financed systems will be sent to the Ukrainian military in the coming weeks. Ukraine will also receive air defense systems and ammunition from the German defense concern Diehl.
