Officially: Who among Ukrainians is allowed to pay for electricity at UAH 2.16 per kWh - how to register.

Starting April 1, 2025, new electricity tariffs will take effect in Ukraine. The Cabinet of Ministers has already approved Resolution No. 632, which establishes new payment rules for electricity.
According to the new conditions, the maximum price per kilowatt can reach UAH 6.48, but for most consumers, these changes will not apply immediately. The base tariff of UAH 4.32 per kWh will remain in effect until the end of April 2025 for most Ukrainians, including residents of apartments, private homes, and dormitories. This tariff is not planned to be reviewed for the Time being.
However, for owners of three-zone meters, tariffs will vary depending on the time of day. During peak hours (from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00), the cost of electricity will be UAH 6.48 per kWh, during semi-peak hours it will be UAH 4.34 per kWh, and at night (from 23:00 to 07:00) - only UAH 1.728 per kWh.
Users of two-zone meters will also benefit from a nighttime discount - the cost of electricity during nighttime will be UAH 2.16 per kWh.
For households with electric heating, a separate consumption category is provided. They have a special rate of UAH 2.64 per kWh up to 2000 kWh per month, and anything consumed above the limit is charged at the standard tariff of UAH 4.32.
'Thanks to differentiated tariffs, consumers will be able to optimize their electricity expenses by shifting part of their consumption to nighttime,' comment energy market experts.
It is also worth reminding that renters risk being left without electricity and paying significant fines.
