The legendary airline Pan Am is returning: what is known about the new flights.
The Revival of the Legendary Airline Pan Am
According to The Sun: One of the most glamorous airlines in the world, Pan Am, has already started limited flights and plans to expand its route network for passengers.
Pan Am was one of the most famous airlines, loved by Hollywood elite, including Humphrey Bogart, Paul McCartney, and Paul Newman.
Getty AFPThe airline began its operations in 1927, operating flights from the USA to Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia. However, over time it faced financial difficulties, particularly after the Lockerbie bombing in 1988, which occurred during flight Pan Am 103.
As a result of these problems, the company ceased operations at the end of 1991.
Despite this, Pan Am recently revived several charter flights and even announced plans to restore regular routes.
A New Life for Pan Am
This July, Pan American World Airways LLC launched a luxurious one-day flight, where guests were greeted at JFK Airport in New York with elements of the Pan Am brand. Passengers embarked on a journey to Bermuda accompanied by a crew in light blue uniforms.
Additionally, the airline began operating flights to Lisbon, Marseille, and London. This 12-day journey was not cheap: with 50 passengers in business class and five-star hotels at each stop, the ticket price was approximately £50,000 per person.
Despite the high price, tickets sold out in three days.
A second trip is planned for next year, starting from San Francisco in April 2026.

Flights will also operate to destinations such as Japan, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. Tickets for these routes may cost around £70,000.
Craig Carter, CEO of Pan American World Airways LLC, said: “We are exploring various opportunities to start operations first as charters and then transition to regular service.”
However, waiting for the availability of economy class should not be expected.
He added: “We want to be a premium carrier, offering a premium product.”
“Even if we introduce economy class, the space between seats will be significant. It will not be standard economy transport.”
Initially, flights will operate between American cities like New York and Miami.
The Future of Pan Am
In the long term, plans include not only the restoration of flights but also the revival of the Pan Am brand. Among the innovations, a new Pan Am hotel is planned to open in Los Angeles next year, managed by Hilton and offering a unique restaurant designed in a 747 airplane, with servers in flight attendant uniforms.

Plans for new commercial flights for passengers are also anticipated. The revival of such an iconic brand as Pan Am promises not only new routes but also a unique experience for travelers who value comfort and luxury in travel.
