According to The Sun: Luxurious ships, butler service, and journeys to enchanting places – this is just a part of the impressions on the most refined cruises in the world.

However, the most luxurious cruise is undoubtedly the new...

The largest cruise ship in the world has embarked on its maiden voyage from Florida, USA, and aboard is already an atmosphere of luxury.

This 20-deck high ship can impressively accommodate 5,610 passengers and offers unforgettable culinary experiences.

The new cruise giant, introduced as a sibling of Icon of the Seas, was unveiled in July of this year by Royal Caribbean at the shipyard in Turku, Finland.

For water attraction lovers, Star of the Seas boasts the largest water park at sea called Category 6, which includes six record-breaking slides.

Among them is the tallest slide at sea, the first free-fall slide, and two rafting slides.

A splash area called Splashaway Bay has been created for little children, featuring water cannons, fountains, pools, and hot tubs.

Seven Swimming Pools

Passengers can surf on a 12-meter long simulator.

The ship has seven pools – with various options for families and adults.

For example, the Hideaway Pool, designed exclusively for adults, floats eight stories high – featuring a DJ and beds right in the water.

Families can also enjoy the Water’s Edge pool with a stunning view of the sea.

Star of the Seas, which set sail from Port Canaveral on Sunday, features 40 bars and restaurants.

Guests on the seven-day cruise can see the musical Broadway’s Back to the Future in the Royal Theater, where a fully functional replica of the iconic DeLorean time machine from the original film is presented.

The ship from Royal Caribbean will also be visiting the Caribbean islands and the Bahamas.

The ship offers numerous activities for passengers of all agesROYAL CARIBBEAN

During the journey, guests also have access to climbing, laser tag, and mini-golf.

And the price...

Of course, such luxury comes at a price – the cheapest ticket starts at $1,000.

The introduction of Star of the Seas took place just a few weeks after Royal Caribbean's management decided to exclude a popular destination from its routes.

This decision was made for safety reasons.

The company has ceased visits to Labadee, a luxurious private resort on the northern coast of Haiti.

Visits to Labadee were interrupted several times last year.

Last summer, the decision to suspend trips to Labadee was upheld until September 2024.

In April, the company announced that the visit to the Haitian island would continue to be suspended.

But I don’t like swimming...

For those who prefer to stay dry, there is mini-golf on Lost Dunes or a climbing wall called Adrenaline Peak, writes our travel correspondent Cian Fielding.

For the brave, there is Crown’s Edge – a partly arduous bridge, partly attraction 154 feet above the ocean.

Activities designed specifically for older children include Social020 – a game room, karaoke, and cinema.

A park with over 30,500 plants will also be set up on board.

As for entertainment, there will be a wide range on board.

The deck plan also shows a music lounge, a casino, a large fitness center, Starbucks, an escape room, a spa, and slides.

There will also be a skating rink called Absolute Zero, where professional ice skaters will perform.

Star of the Seas embodies all the features of a luxury cruise and creates unforgettable experiences for its passengers. Despite the security challenges on certain routes, the company continues to implement new ideas and services to attract tourists.

This incredible ship and its entertainment promise to appeal not only to adventure seekers but also to those simply looking to relax while enjoying the maritime landscapes and luxurious service on board.
