Ukraine's 'Health Screening 40+' Program

According to TSN.ua: Beginning in 2026, Ukraine will launch the 'Health Screening 40+' program, providing citizens aged 40 and above with a 2000 hryvnia payment to cover the cost of a comprehensive medical check-up. This initiative is designed to improve public health and enable the early detection of diseases among the country's middle-aged population. The program reflects a growing focus on preventative healthcare in Eastern Europe.

Program Procedure and Requirements

Under the program, individuals who have turned 40 will receive an invitation for screening on the 30th day following their birthday. The screening procedure itself is scheduled to last between 60 and 90 minutes, allowing for necessary medical examinations to be conducted efficiently.

From February 2026, it will be possible to obtain the required 'Diia.Card' for receiving payments without using the 'Diia' app. This service will be available through 'PrivatBank'. It is important to note that medical institutions participating in the program must be registered under specific Merchant Category Codes (MCCs):
