On October 16, DTEK company energy workers restored power supply for 11 thousand families who were deprived of electricity due to shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions. This was reported by DTEK.
Hostilities in the Donetsk region continue, and settlements continue to suffer from the consequences of shelling and airstrikes, leading to the destruction of energy equipment.
Even in the difficult security situation, energy workers managed to restore electricity for 6.4 thousand families on the front line during yesterday. Shelling also continues in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The most affected region is the south of Donetsk, which is located near the conflict zone. On October 16, energy workers restored power supply for 4.5 thousand local residents. In some settlements near the conflict zone, DTEK energy workers have restored power supply several times and continue to do so despite the danger and shelling.
Last week, Rinat Akhmetov's DTEK energy workers managed to return electricity to 25.4 thousand families in 41 settlements, which were left without power due to shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
