The 1255th day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine continues. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy's onslaught on 12 fronts. This is stated in the morning report of the on Friday, August 1.
What is the situation at the front
On the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 16 enemy attacks over the past day. Russian troops carried out seven airstrikes, dropping a total of 17 guided aerial bombs. There were also 331 recorded artillery shellings, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South-Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian military stopped seven enemy attacks near the settlement of Vovchansk, as well as in the directions of Dvorichne and Kolodiazne.
On the Kupiansk direction, over the past day, the enemy attempted to breach the defense three times. Our units repelled the assault actions of the occupiers near Kupiansk and Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman direction, thirty attacks by Russian troops were recorded. The enemy attempted to break through in the areas of the settlements of Karpivka, Ridkodub, Myrne, as well as in the direction of Shandryholove, Yampol and Hryhorivka.
