The head of the Financial Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Danilo Hetmantsev, explained the details of the 'Drone Line' program, which allows brigades to independently purchase the necessary drone models for specific sections of the front.
In his interview, Hetmantsev noted that the state has allocated a significant amount of funds for the production and procurement of military equipment, including drones. For these purposes, 110 billion hryvnias have been planned, of which 8 billion will go towards the purchase of drones for brigades.

Hetmantsev emphasized that drones are an important part of military equipment that is rapidly evolving and changing, so procurement must be prompt. 'Purchasing through the Ministry of Defense is quite complicated and lengthy. Brigades can only receive drones when they are already outdated in the fight against the enemy,' he stated.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky introduced the 'Drone Line' program, which allows brigades to independently purchase the necessary drone models for certain sections of the front. Hetmantsev supported this decision, calling it the right one.
