"Too late": Trump responds to Harris' challenge.
US presidential candidate Donald Trump has rejected his opponent Kamala Harris's proposal to hold another debate before the presidential elections.
As reported by The Wave, Reuters writes about this.
It is worth noting that Harris announced her agreement to the debates on October 23 on CNN.
"Donald Trump should have no problem agreeing to these debates," said Harris campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon.
However, Trump remained on his previous position. He argues that Americans have already started voting in the 2024 elections. According to him, "it is already too late".
"The problem with additional debates is that it's already too late. Voting has already started," Trump said at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina.
At the same Time, he stressed that Harris only needs these debates because she is allegedly losing.
"Now she wants to debate before the CNN election, because she's losing big time," he said.
It is worth recalling that the first debates between Harris and Trump took place on September 10, in which polls showed the vice president's victory.
