Zaporizhzhia. Footage of the consequences of the enemy shelling has emerged.
On the night of June 14, the city of Zaporizhzhia was shelled by Russian terrorists, reported the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Ivan Fedorov. As a result of the shelling, at least five strikes were recorded, causing damage to vehicles and civilian infrastructure. Fires broke out on the streets of the city and smoke rose.
According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of the shelling, passenger cars, several buildings, and warehouses caught fire. Rescuers are working at the scene and extinguishing all fires. There is currently no accurate information about the victims, but emergency services are providing assistance.
Fedorov reported that the Russian occupation army had previously attacked other settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Later, information about the consequences of the shelling was updated. One of the residents of the city, a 60-year-old man, died from a Russian strike. At least three other people were injured and hospitalized for medical assistance.
Earlier, Russian terrorists attacked the village in the Polohivskyi district of the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in casualties and injuries. According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, the Russians shelled residential buildings, leading to the destruction of a house and damage to other structures.
As a result of the shelling by Russian terrorists in Zaporizhzhia, significant material losses and human casualties have occurred. Rescue operations and assistance to the affected are ongoing.
The conflict in eastern Ukraine continues to bring suffering to the civilian population, where Russian terrorists do not cease to provoke conflict and strike at civilian facilities.
