Detention of CCC employees in Ternopil region: reaction of the operational command "West".

Operational command "West" claims that everyone is equal before the law, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have no tolerance for law violations. This statement was made by OK "West".

"In fact, more than one million soldiers who proudly defend our Motherland serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, sometimes disgraceful incidents occur. But this does not give the right to condemn hundreds of thousands of heroes who are now fighting and defeating the enemy", - the statement emphasized.

OK "West" also addressed other military personnel, emphasizing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have no tolerance for law violations regardless of rank - whether it is a soldier, colonel, or general. Everyone is equal before the law.

Let us remind you that the head of the local CCC organized a corruption scheme. Four more people were involved in this case, three of them were recruitment center employees, and one was a former serviceman.

Members of the organized criminal group demanded and received improper benefits for resolving issues to avoid mobilization: not passing the Medical Commission, updating military data, obtaining a deferment from military service. The criminals' earnings ranged from 100,000 to 150,000 dollars per month. The organizer and accomplices distributed the received money among themselves depending on the completed tasks.

The organizer and his four accomplices were charged with criminal offenses. The investigators filed a motion for detention without the right to post bail.

It is also worth mentioning that the appellate court changed the pre-trial measure for the former head of the Rivne regional CCC, Serhii Lutsiuk, who is suspected of beating a subordinate. He is now under house arrest with a mandatory travel ban and a bail of 454,200 hryvnias.
