Peace Agreement Before Christmas: Will There Be Progress in Talks on the War.
Negotiations on Ending the War in Ukraine
According to ТСН: Negotiations involving various parties are shaping a certain format for ending the war in Ukraine and a future peace agreement. It is expected that by Christmas it will become clear what results have been achieved.
This opinion was expressed by a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, Fedir Venislavskyi, in an interview with Radio NV.
According to him, American and European partners of Ukraine realize the necessity of preparing a potential peace agreement now, in order to coordinate it with the conflict parties, including Russia.
"I think diplomacy is working and that there is progress. How obvious it is — I think we will understand in the coming weeks. By Christmas, as has been stated from various sides, we will definitely know whether or not a result will be achieved," emphasized Venislavskyi.
According to information from the publication Bild, peace talks on the war in Ukraine have intensified since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation. U.S. President Donald Trump is pressuring Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky to make concessions.
On Saturday, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced preparations for meetings with the American side and European partners in Berlin.
The situation regarding the negotiations indicates that the international community is actively working to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. With the approach of Christmas, progress in peace negotiations could become an important step toward achieving stability in the region. As Venislavskyi points out, the results of the coming weeks may determine the further course of Ukrainian diplomacy and strategic decisions that will affect the development of events in the country.
