“Border troops shot it (the drone. - ed.) down, and it was handed over to specialized bodies,” reported the local news agency Petra, citing an official source in the military leadership.
According to local media, border troops shot down the drone and handed it over to competent authorities for further investigation. Jordanian military stated their determination to counter any threats at the kingdom's borders.
Interestingly, Jordan shares borders with countries where terrorist groups supported by Iran operate - Syria and Iraq.
