Zelensky ordered to simplify admission to universities: possible winter campaign.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky initiated the simplification of admission conditions to higher educational institutions, specifically, a winter admission campaign may be implemented. He announced this at the youth forum 'Youth Here' on Tuesday, August 12.
The Ukrainian leader noted that many problems arise during admission to universities in wartime.
'I have instructed the government to simplify the admission conditions to Ukrainian universities. There was an idea, in particular, to hold a winter admission campaign, so that in case of failure in summer, one does not lose a whole year', Zelensky explained.
The head of state pointed out that there were also other proposals that should be carefully considered and for which answers should be found.
It is also worth noting that the Ukrainian leader had previously introduced easier conditions for young people under 22 to travel abroad, and also banned the mobilization of students up to 25 years old after transferring from one educational institution to another, with the exception of one special case.
At the initiative of President Zelensky, changes may be implemented that will facilitate admission to higher educational institutions and allow young people not to waste time due to failures during the summer admission campaign.
