According to inkorr.com:
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky participated in a meeting with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, where they discussed issues of energy security and support for social protection of the population. The government allocated 1.5 billion hryvnias for the protection of energy facilities in frontline areas from attacks by Russia. A reserve of equipment for the rapid restoration of power supply was also created.
Continuation of fixed gas prices
Zelensky noted that the government plans to adopt a resolution that will extend the fixed gas price for the population. A decision was also made to impose a moratorium on disconnecting consumers in frontline communities from electricity. The President emphasized the importance of supporting communities that are going through difficult times.
During the meeting dedicated to energy security and social protection, the President of Ukraine and the government adopted a number of important decisions. They include the protection of energy facilities in frontline regions and the preservation of fixed gas prices for the population. This, in turn, will contribute to improving the living conditions of citizens in these difficult times.
These measures are crucial for ensuring stability in the energy sector and supporting the population in conditions of constant threats. The government continues active actions to ensure energy security and social guarantees for Ukrainians, especially in the most vulnerable regions.
