Zelensky criticized Tucker Carlson for working for Putin: details of the statement.
Zelensky accused Tucker Carlson of repeating Putin's narratives
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that American journalist Tucker Carlson is echoing the narratives of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The interview was given by the head of state to British journalist Piers Morgan.
Zelensky reacted to Carlson's words, who compared him to Putin. The President noted that such a comparison was made with the aim of finding a compromise between Ukraine and Russia. Zelensky also urged journalists not to support Putin.
The President of Ukraine also responded to accusations regarding contract killings of opponents. He claims that the Ukrainian authorities are not involved in these crimes, but the Security Service can punish those who torture Ukrainian citizens.
Zelensky urged Tucker Carlson to better understand the situation in Ukraine and not to aid Putin. It is worth noting that Carlson had previously interviewed Putin and spread his theses to an American audience. He also interacted with Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin and echoed Kremlin propaganda theses.
