Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans to involve military personnel from North Korea in combat operations on Ukrainian territory.

According to intelligence data, the first North Korean soldiers will arrive in the combat zone as early as October 27-28.

"According to intelligence, by October 27-28 the first North Korean troops will be deployed by Russia in the combat zones," the president wrote on social media on October 25.

Zelensky emphasized the need for a strict international response to such actions. He noted that the "actual involvement of North Korea in combat operations should receive a response not in the form of closed eyes and puzzled comments, but meaningful pressure on Moscow and Pyongyang".

The president also received a report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, regarding the situation at the front, particularly in the directions of Pokrovsk, Kurakhiv, and Lyman. Zelensky emphasized that although the situation in Donetsk is difficult, Ukrainian combat brigades are holding their positions and doing everything possible to eliminate the occupiers.

A separate discussion was held on the operation in Russia's Kursk region, where Ukrainian units are creating a buffer zone.

We remind you that South Korea may provide weapons to Ukraine due to North Korea's military activity.
