Situation in frontline territories
In frontline areas and border zones with Russia, the situation remains critical. The President noted that there are ongoing shellings from Russian drones and missiles; however, the process of restoring energy supply does not stop.
Restoration in the regions
The meeting also discussed the situation regarding restoration in Odesa and the region, where many shortcomings were identified on the part of local leaders. The issues of restoration in other regions were considered, specifically in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Poltava, emphasizing the volume of necessary equipment, deadlines, and financing.
Military issues
In the military sphere, attention was focused on expanding the capabilities of army aviation to combat drones. Plans are underway for the creation of new helicopter groups and collaboration with manufacturers of interceptor drones. The Minister of Defense also announced plans for a new 'Ramstein'.
During the meeting, important issues of restoration and protection of energy infrastructure after Russian attacks were discussed, as well as the situation in frontline communities and cooperation with regional leaders to improve the situation in various parts of Ukraine. The topic of increasing defense capabilities was raised, particularly expanding aviation capabilities and collaboration with manufacturers of interceptor drones.
Thus, the Meeting traditionally focused on the issues that most concern Ukrainians: infrastructure restoration, territorial protection, and enhancing military effectiveness. These issues remain key amidst ongoing aggression from Russia, and the activity of the presidential team in this area indicates a serious approach to the situation.
