According to inkorr.com: President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the heating season in Ukraine has already begun. Buildings in the social sector are starting to warm up, and from October 28, all citizens will be able to feel warmth in their homes.
Zelensky managed to find funding for gas imports, and approximately 70% of the required amount has already been collected. The head of state confirmed that the government will provide the remaining amount needed to purchase gas on foreign markets.
The president also reported on active work to restore critical infrastructure that has been damaged as a result of air attacks. The government allocated 8.4 billion hryvnias for the heating season of 2025/2026.
Zelensky continues to take actions to ensure Ukraine has warmth and gas, as well as actively works on the reconstruction of important facilities to prepare the country for the winter months. New steps indicate the government's efforts to create comfortable conditions for citizens.
