Ukraine's President Zelenskyy Reveals Russian Casualty Figures and Highlights Security Cooperation with the UK.
How Ukraine Is Assisting the UK in Security Efforts
According to Novyny.live: During a recent address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy detailed the ways in which Ukraine is contributing to the United Kingdom's security, placing special emphasis on the role of drones and electronic warfare systems. He also took the opportunity to analyze the heavy losses suffered by Russian forces, making it clear that Moscow has failed to achieve its original war objectives.
Russian Troop Losses and Ukraine's Technological Edge
Zelenskyy pointed out that Russia has not succeeded in its plans to seize control of the Donbas region or the capital city of Kyiv.
“They wanted to fully occupy Donbas—100 percent. They did not achieve that. And, of course, they wanted to take the capital. They did not achieve that either. Right now, they are losing between 30,000 and 35,000 people every month,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated.
These figures underline the severe personnel losses Russia is experiencing, raising serious questions about its military capabilities moving forward.
The president also stressed that Ukraine now leads the world in security innovation due to its advanced technology. “Today, we are number one in the security field thanks to our technology. Drones and electronic warfare systems,” he added.
These technologies have become central to Ukraine's defense strategy, significantly strengthening its position on the front lines.
In light of these developments, upcoming negotiations are expected to focus on:
- supplies of air defense systems
- reviving an active negotiation process
Ukraine is determined to bolster its security and ensure effective protection against aggression.
This statement from the president highlights the critical role of international support for Ukraine amid ongoing Russian military aggression. The losses cited by Zelenskyy point to deep-seated problems within Russia's armed forces and could reshape the strategic calculations of both sides. At the same time, the emphasis on cutting-edge technology and cooperation with allies may prove decisive in Ukraine's continued fight for independence.
