President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is ready for negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but only under the condition of a clear understanding of how exactly the war will end.
'Certainly, both the U.S. and President Trump, as well as the countries of the European Union, believe that diplomacy is impossible without Russia, without Putin. And so I said: I am ready if we have an understanding of how this war will end,' emphasized Zelensky during a conversation with journalists in Kyiv.
Regarding the possible peace plan by Donald Trump, the President of Ukraine said that there is still no official version. Everything that exists in publications is not the official plan of President Trump.
Zelensky explained that specific proposals had already been discussed with the American side even before Trump's inauguration. 'Our teams will work together, there can be no plan separate from anyone, even from the United States,' noted the President.
'We are waiting for our official meeting and official results,' he added.
