Zelensky signed a law for 50 thousand for the birth of a child: details.
According to inkorr.com: President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a new law that modernizes the system of state support for Ukrainian families. The document provides for a one-time assistance of 50 thousand hryvnias for the birth of a child, as well as the introduction of new social programs.
Main provisions of the law
The law implements a comprehensive system of financial assistance to families at different stages, starting from pregnancy and ending with school for children. In addition to the one-time payment at the birth of a child, there will also be monthly support, which will depend on the age of the children and the employment of the parents. Special benefits will be provided for families with children with disabilities and first-graders.
New social payments will come into effect in 2026.
This decision aims to alleviate the financial burden on Ukrainian families and support them during important moments in life. The introduced changes will contribute to improving the living standards of families and provide better opportunities for the development of children, as well as ensure more reliable social support for those who need it most.
