Zelenskyy Warns of Imminent New Russian Mass Attack, Details Defensive Preparations.
Potential New Russian Mass Strike
According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued a warning that Russia may be preparing a new mass strike, which could occur within the next day or two. In light of this intelligence, he has ordered the implementation of necessary protective measures. The previous mass strike took place on February 12.
President's Address
In his address, the president stated:
"Intelligence reports indicate a new mass strike could come within one to two days"- Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
To prepare for potential threats, Zelenskyy has issued directives to the following officials:
- Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatolii Kryvonizhka
- Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov
- Head of 'Ukrenergo', Vitalii Zaichenko
These officials are expected to take all necessary additional steps to ensure the country's protection amid a potential escalation of the conflict. This warning comes as Ukraine's energy infrastructure remains a frequent target for Russian attacks.
The president's statement underscores the rising tension in the region and the need for proactive measures to ensure national security. Given previous attacks, such as the mass strike on February 12, Ukrainian military and government structures must be prepared for any potential threats that may arise in the coming days. Ukraine's response and readiness in this situation could significantly impact the further development of the conflict and the country's security.
