President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about some details of the Kursk operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of Russia, which is part of the general war strategy. He noted that the operation was of great importance to Ukraine.

The President emphasized that these actions are aimed at creating a just world, making Russia ready for it. It also had a certain tactical result, preventing Russia from capturing the Sumy region and weakening Ukrainian positions in this direction.

Zelensky also noted the difficulty of the situation for Ukraine, especially during the period of limited support from international partners. "We were alone for a long time, and it was very difficult to seize the initiative," he added.

The President did not reveal the details of the entire plan, but noted that the Kursk operation is only one of the stages of a large-scale plan. He is convinced that when it is all over, it will be clear what the AFU did and why.
