Zelensky appointed new heads of four regional state administrations: who will lead the regions.
According to ТСН: President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed new leaders for the Chernivtsi, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Vinnytsia regional state administrations.
The head of state announced this during his traditional video address. He noted:
«Today, documents regarding the new heads of four regions are already prepared. I have signed these decrees».
Zelensky also assured that new leaders will be introduced locally in the near future.
«The candidacy for the Ternopil region has also been approved today. And in general, we will continue with personnel decisions».
Appointment of new leaders
Nataliya Zabolotna will head the Vinnytsia regional state administration.
Oleksandr Hanzha will head the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration.
Oleksandr Hanzha previously worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On January 13, 2023, he was appointed head of the Main Department of the National Police in Rivne Oblast, and in October 2023, he headed the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Vitaliy Dyakivnyk will head the Poltava regional state administration.
Ruslan Osypenko will head the Chernivtsi regional state administration.
According to Suspilne, Ruslan Osypenko previously led the National Police in the Donetsk Oblast for more than four years.
On the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine, decrees regarding these appointments have already been published. It is worth noting that only Nataliya Zabolotna, who previously served in an acting capacity in Vinnytsia Oblast, has received the position of head of the regional state administration.
These appointments indicate a continuation of personnel changes at the regional level in Ukraine. Importantly, the new heads already have experience working in law enforcement structures, which may contribute to improving management efficiency in the regions. The President emphasized that he supports the active renewal of the deputy composition of the regions, which forms more adaptive teams to meet new challenges and tasks.
