According to Novyny.live: Kyrylo Budanov extended his greetings to the personnel of the Unmanned Systems Forces on the occasion of their professional holiday, observed annually on June 11 as established by presidential decree No. 485/2026. In his address, he underscored the critical role of human expertise in modern combat, noting that drones have become an indispensable part of warfare. According to him, every successful operation is driven by people—operators, engineers, and technicians—whose knowledge and ingenuity daily strengthen Ukraine’s military and help preserve soldiers’ lives.
The Effectiveness of Unmanned Technologies
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also highlighted the importance of drone operators’ precision, calling it a decisive factor in exhausting the enemy. As a result of strikes by unmanned systems, monthly losses among Russian occupation forces exceed 30,000 personnel. These figures attest to the effectiveness and significance of unmanned technologies in countering the aggressor.
