Zelensky on the key to peace: why long-range weapons are forcing Russia to act

According to inkorr.com: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is convinced that the availability of long-range weapons is a critically important factor for achieving peace in the country. He expressed this opinion in his address on October 21, 2025, when the war has already lasted for 1336 days.

'The more Ukrainian long-range capabilities, the greater the Russian readiness to end the war. Currently, the weeks have once again confirmed this,' Zelensky emphasized.

Zelensky also noted that the preparation for meetings with representatives of European countries has been completed. This week, a new agreement on military capabilities will emerge, which will become part of long-term security guarantees for Ukraine, although details are not yet disclosed.

Agreements with the USA and the difficult situation in the East

The President reported on successful negotiations with the United States concerning the organization of dialogue at the front. 'We had a meeting with the President of the United States and agreed to conduct dialogue on the already existing front line. President Trump expressed support for this idea,' he explained.

'As soon as the issue of long-range capabilities for us – for Ukraine – became a little further, Russia almost automatically became less interested in diplomacy,' Zelensky revealed.

The President also noted that Russia is evading diplomacy and trying to avoid a peaceful resolution of the conflict. 'We have forced Russia to show that 'Tomahawks' are exactly the card they are weighing,' he added.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of long-range weapons for achieving peace in Ukraine and also highlighted the successes in preparing an agreement with European partners and establishing dialogue with the United States along the front line.

These statements by the President underline the current state of Ukrainian diplomacy and military strategy. In the context of active hostilities and tense negotiations with international partners, it is important for Ukraine to receive the necessary support to ensure security and stability in the region.
