Zelensky commented on new Russian shelling and the preparation of powerful sanctions packages.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia continues to shell civilian objects and is preparing new sanctions. As a result of a ballistic missile strike in Dnipro, one person died, and a strike drone was launched in Kyiv. The attack in Nikopol was particularly brutal, where five FPV drones injured 12 people, including one child.
'Russia is obviously ignoring diplomacy and using contacts with the world only to do something beneficial for itself, rather than to end the war,' Zelensky said.
Zelensky also reported that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov is participating in the 'Ramstein' meeting in Brussels, where the issue of the country's air defense is being discussed. The President also noted that new Ukrainian sanctions are being prepared against Russia's 'shadow tanker fleet', war funding, and propagandists.
Zelensky thanked the SBU for counteracting enemy sabotage and intelligence and mentioned a meeting on support for Ukrainian communities that he held with Deputy Prime Minister Kuleba.
