Russia launched an airstrike on Kharkiv, damaging the historic Derzhprom building
Russia carried out a massive airstrike on Kharkiv, resulting in serious damage to the historic Derzhprom building, which is under UNESCO protection.
This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, the enemy strike occurred around 21:00 in the central part of the city. It is preliminarily established that the occupants used guided FAB-500 aerial bombs.
The attack resulted in several floors of the administrative building being devastatingly damaged. Hundreds of windows in administrative buildings, the regional hospital, and residential buildings were also damaged. Six people sustained minor and moderate injuries.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that any attempts to flirt with the aggressor only increase their confidence in impunity. According to him, only collective resolve and increased pressure on the aggressor can stop the terror.
