Zelensky held the Headquarters: which regions will receive special protection.
According to inkorr.com: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a meeting of the 'Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Headquarters,' during which a decision was made to strengthen the defense of frontline and border regions. The main focus is on strengthening air defense and expanding the unmanned capabilities of the armed forces.
Participation of military commanders and regional administrations
Military commanders, intelligence representatives, and heads of regional administrations from eight regions that are most at risk: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson were present at the meeting. The President announced the preparation of special measures for these regions.
'They are effectively organizing a safari on people and training drone operators at the expense of killing Ukrainians in the streets, on the roads,' Zelensky stated, commenting on the actions of Russian troops in areas subject to enemy strikes.
Development of unmanned systems and international support
According to the President, the Unmanned Systems Forces will receive more resources and will be more actively involved in combat operations. From December 1, an electronic scoring system will be implemented for evacuating the wounded using robotic complexes and their use by units. Brigades will receive direct funding for the purchase of drones and components.
Ukraine continues to actively cooperate with partners to enhance security and defense capabilities. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and the Baltic States have allocated 500 million dollars for the PURL program. Also on the horizon is a 'historic agreement' with France.
The next steps for Ukraine include concluding a gas supply agreement with Greece, collaborating with European countries to ensure gas for the winter, and auditing state companies with subsequent transfer of results to law enforcement agencies.
Ukraine is currently taking important steps to strengthen the defense capabilities of its regions in response to ongoing threats. Support from international partners, particularly financial assistance for the development of unmanned systems, plays a key role in this process. Continuing cooperation with foreign states is also an important component of Ukraine's strategy for the near future.
