According to UATV: On March 20, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy disclosed the results of diplomatic discussions held in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region. Ukrainian teams are actively collaborating with five countries to counter the threat posed by wireless 'Shahed' drones. The talks also addressed international cooperation aimed at stabilizing security in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime chokepoint for global oil shipments.
Zelenskyy noted that Ukrainian teams are processing requests from the United States regarding expert assistance.
“We have provided expert assessments and are helping to build a defense system,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.This underscores the value of Ukrainian expertise in enhancing security measures. The head of state also emphasized Ukraine’s firm stance that any success of terrorist activities by the Iranian regime is unacceptable.
