Zelensky on Negotiations: Ukraine is Forming Three Groups to Work Towards Peace.

According to ТСН: Rustem Umerov spoke about the work of the Ukrainian negotiation team, which was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

Defense Group in Germany

"A defense group is being prepared in Germany, which addresses security guarantees for Ukraine. The group is headed by Lieutenant General Hnatov from the Ukrainian side, and includes representatives from our army, intelligence, and security forces," Zelensky noted.

Economic Direction

The President reported that a group on economics, reconstruction, and investments has started working in the United States.

"This area is mainly handled by government officials: Prime Minister Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister Katchka, and Minister Sobolev. Experts are also involved," he added.

Contact with Advisors

The next important direction is constant contact between advisors on national security issues and other participants, according to the leaders' decisions.

"Today, as almost every day, communication is ongoing between the United States, Ukraine, and other European countries participating in our Coalition. Moderating from our side is Umerov," Zelensky pointed out.

Towards Peace

The President emphasized that there is a single goal across all areas for Ukraine: to expedite the end of the war and determine the steps that will ensure a dignified peace, guaranteed security, and recovery.

Zelensky also suggested introducing a ceasefire during the presidential elections in Ukraine. He stressed that security is the main condition, and the USA can provide the most significant assistance.

"The ceasefire should last at least for the duration of the electoral process and voting," the head of state summarized.
