The USA sent 20 thousand missiles to the Middle East, which were initially intended for Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during an interview for ABC News stated that the missiles were originally intended to combat the militants known as 'Shaheds'. It was noted that the technology of these missiles was innovative and advantageous. The agreement to transfer this technology to Ukraine was made under the previous administration of the president.
'We were counting on them. But recently the USA decided to redirect these missiles to the Middle East,' Zelensky reported.
A request for assistance to President Trump and his team came after two attacks by militants in Ukraine. The decision to send the missiles to the Middle East was made in the context of the growing threat of terrorist acts.
