The immediate focus is on Kyiv, where more than 1,200 apartment buildings currently lack heating during a period of severe winter cold, demanding urgent action and rapid solutions.

The meeting involved discussions with local officials on expediting aid to resolve the heating crisis. The President ordered inspections of the readiness of social infrastructure, schools, and support centers in Kyiv. 'The circumstances are extremely difficult: over 1,200 apartment buildings in the city are still without heating. We must act faster.' Volodymyr Zelenskyy

During the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister were instructed to analyze options for urgent procurement of equipment for alternative electricity and heat generation. Furthermore, the Energy Minister is working to secure additional international support to overcome the crisis.
