The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, where the development of drone systems and artillery production were discussed.
The meeting highlighted the use of various types of drones, from FPV to long-range systems, considering technological solutions for effectively destroying the enemy and protecting Ukrainian soldiers.
It was noted that Ukraine has a positive dynamic in the production of artillery systems and is acquiring shells abroad.
The president also held a meeting with military leadership regarding the selection of a new head of the Hetman Sagaidachny National Army Academy. Currently, an ongoing survey in the 'Army+' application presents five candidates.
In addition, during a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron, they discussed support for Ukraine in defense matters and the purchase of shells.
The president also signed a decree on sanctions against 140 entities in Russia's financial sector and prepared a draft law on criminal liability for attempts to circumvent sanctions.
