Zelensky's visit to London
According to inkorr.com:
During his visit to London, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is trying to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine this winter. He noted that the evidence of this is the massive campaign of Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Zelensky also expressed gratitude to Great Britain and King Charles III for supporting Ukraine.
Position of Great Britain
Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer, supporting Zelensky's speech, stated that Putin shows no willingness to end the war, which is confirmed by the continuation of attacks on Ukraine's energy system. Starmer called for increasing pressure on Russia and expanding support for Ukraine. It was also announced that an early transfer of an additional 140 light multifunctional missiles to Ukraine would take place to strengthen air defense.
Zelensky and the Prime Minister of Great Britain discussed the situation with Russian aggression, condemning Putin's actions towards Ukraine. They emphasized the importance of joint initiatives to deter Russia's aggressive actions and support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to London highlighted the important partnership between Ukraine and Great Britain in the context of ongoing war. Both countries continue to cooperate to ensure security in the region, which is significant in the fight against Russian aggression. The transfer of new missiles will be substantial support for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities in the face of increasing challenges this winter.
