Ukraine Recovery Conference in Focus

According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will decide whether to attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Poland on June 25–26. The final call will come after a briefing from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, scheduled for June 21. This high-level gathering aims to mobilize international support for Ukraine’s post-conflict rebuilding efforts.

Zelensky is set to announce his participation on June 22, following the ministry’s report. Andriy Sybiha, head of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated:

'On Monday, we will brief the President of Ukraine on the readiness for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, the implications of various decisions, and the modalities of its conduct. Based on this, the President will make a decision.'

The conference is expected to draw both Ukrainian and international stakeholders, who will address key recovery challenges. Notably, Zelensky—who received Poland’s Order of the White Eagle in 2023—returned the award to Poland on June 20, 2026, underscoring his efforts to strengthen ties with Polish partners.

Why Ukraine’s Participation Matters

Attending the conference could mark a critical step for Ukraine’s recovery and integration into global frameworks, as well as deeper cooperation with Poland. As a result, Zelensky’s decision will be closely watched both domestically and abroad.

The Ukraine Recovery Conference in Poland reflects the government’s drive to actively engage the international community in rebuilding the country after the conflict. The president’s presence would highlight the importance of global collaboration for Ukraine and help attract the investments and resources needed to restore infrastructure and the economy.

Given the circumstances, this choice could have far-reaching implications for Ukraine’s future on the world stage.
