Zelensky: Ukraine must be stronger before negotiations and ready to expand the peace plan.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the need to strengthen the country's positions before conducting any negotiations.
He stated this in an interview for Northern European media.
"First of all, to strengthen Ukraine. We proposed the Victory Plan, which can strengthen Ukraine geopolitically to give us an invitation to NATO," the head of state emphasized.
The president expressed concern that some partners are avoiding the discussion of the issue of inviting Ukraine to NATO. According to him, this raises doubts about their position during possible negotiations.
Zelensky stressed the importance of honesty and openness in the negotiation process. He also reported on Ukraine's readiness to include proposals from Brazil, China, and countries of the Global South into its peace plan, although so far, no responses have been received from these countries.
"In any case, we will prepare the plan and will be fully ready in November," the president noted, adding that Putin is avoiding participation in negotiations as he "does not know what to do after this war."
Also, Zelensky reacted sharply to the leak of Ukraine's secret requests to the White House.
He also addressed the US and China regarding North Korean military.
