Zelensky: Ukraine will not allow Russian gas to Europe.
The agreement with 'Gazprom' on the transit of Russian gas to Europe will not be restored
Ukraine does not agree to transport Russian gas under the guise of Azerbaijani gas, President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a media briefing in Brussels.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine does not want to give Russia the opportunity to profit from their 'blood'. He also warned that any country accepting cheap offers from Russia risks becoming dependent on it.
In a conversation with the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Zelensky explained his position regarding the potential transit of Azerbaijani gas. He noted that if a European country does not want to pay Russia for gas until the end of the war, such a possibility can be considered. However, the Ukrainian president stated that he does not want to play a game where another country receives gas from Russia and transits its own gas.
Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal confirmed that Kyiv excludes the continuation of the transit agreement with 'Gazprom', but is ready to transport gas from other sources through its gas transmission system.
We remind you that Zelensky revealed a critical flaw in Ukraine's defense - and it is not the age of the military.
