According to UATV: On March 2, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is technically prepared to open six negotiation clusters for accession to the European Union by 2027. He noted, however, that not all EU leaders are ready to support this process. Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine has repeatedly stated its readiness to become an EU member by that date.

"Ukraine has said many times that by 2027, Ukraine will be technically ready to become a member of the EU,"

"Therefore, a concrete date is needed. And 2027 is the time when we will be ready for this."

Furthermore, he shared his view on the actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating:

"Putin—whatever he promises America or Europe today, etc.—it's all a lie."
