Zelensky responded to rumors about an offensive in Dnipropetrovsk region.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, dismissed reports about the approach of Russian occupiers to the Dnipropetrovsk region. He stated that currently, there are no movements in that direction. According to The New York Times, this information claimed a possible invasion of occupiers into this region for the first time in three years, which may be a consequence of increasing Russian activity due to the ongoing blockage of peace negotiations.

“There are currently no advances towards the Dnipropetrovsk region. However, it is important for them to stay in the spotlight, ... they are trying at least to come closer to the administrative border,” said Zelensky.

Additionally, Zelensky emphasized that Russian troops are sending small reconnaissance-diversion groups into the region to create propaganda materials. The troops successfully repelled an attack by an enemy group of six individuals who attempted to approach the administrative border.

Actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the outcomes of the visit by the German Defense Minister

Zelensky also spoke about the operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. He also shared information about the visit of the German Defense Minister to Ukraine. Overall, the head of state emphasized the importance of maintaining the country's defense capabilities and the activity of Russian invaders in eastern Ukraine.
