Zelensky is heading to the Netherlands: meeting with the king and negotiations for peace.
According to ТСН: On Tuesday, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to the Netherlands, where he will be met by Prime Minister Rutger Schopf and His Majesty the King.
This was reported by the press service of the Dutch government.
Meeting with the Prime Minister
At lunch, President Zelensky will meet with Prime Minister Schopf in Catshuis during a lunch for delegations. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Van Weel and the Minister of Defense Brekelmans will also participate in the negotiations. The main topics of the meeting will be peace negotiations and the ongoing support for Ukraine from the Netherlands.
Audience with the King
After this, the head of the Ukrainian state will be received in an audience by the king at the Huis ten Bosch palace.
International Conference
Earlier that day, Prime Minister Schopf will speak at an international ministerial conference dedicated to the Treaty establishing the International Commission on Claims regarding Ukraine. This conference will take place under the auspices of the Council of Europe and the Netherlands within the framework of the World Forum in The Hague.
Prospects for Security Guarantees
It should be reminded that Zelensky previously noted the conditions and prospects for security guarantees, emphasizing that Ukraine's primary goal was to join NATO, which could have become "real security guarantees," but this idea did not receive full support from allies.
The visit of Volodymyr Zelensky to the Netherlands emphasizes the importance of international support for Ukraine, especially in the context of security issues. Cooperation with the Netherlands, which is already actively helping, continues to open new opportunities for strengthening interstate relations.
