The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, will meet with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at his residence on Downing Street on Thursday, August 14. This will take place before the planned summit, where the presidents of the USA, Donald Trump, and Russia, Vladimir Putin, will gather.

Zelensky's meeting with Starmer
Starmer expressed London's readiness to 'increase pressure' on Moscow if necessary. He also praised Trump's efforts towards ending hostilities in Ukraine.
During a phone call with Trump and European partners, Starmer emphasized that during the Friday negotiations involving Trump, it would be important to find ways to resolve the conflict.
'I have been telling President Trump throughout three years of this conflict that we do not see a way to find a truly viable path to its conclusion,' Starmer said.
Meanwhile, Trump warned that Russia would face 'serious consequences' if it violates the ceasefire agreements.
It should be noted that the leaders of the countries in the 'Coalition of the Willing' attended a virtual conference on peace in Ukraine.
Some Western media report that a possible trilateral meeting between Zelensky, Putin, and Trump is being considered.
