According to Novyny.live: Applications are now being accepted from residents of Sumy for a one-time cash payment of UAH 19,400 to purchase solid fuel. The submission period runs until August 17, 2026. This assistance is designed for households without access to centralized heating and will be disbursed as a single payment for the entire heating season.
Priority Categories for Assistance
Priority for these funds is given to the most vulnerable groups, including:
- Recipients of subsidies for purchasing solid stove fuel;
- Beneficiaries receiving aid for solid stove fuel;
- Single, incapacitated individuals of retirement age;
- Single mothers or fathers who are not married;
- Citizens receiving child birth assistance;
- Large families;
- People with disabilities and their family members;
- Families with internally displaced person status.
