The minister announced this in his Telegram on Friday, August 15.

Thanks to the adopted changes, combat units will have the opportunity to independently purchase used pickups, ATVs, and motorcycles through a simplified procedure.

'We are simplifying the procurement of pickups by combat units. Military units will be able to purchase used vehicles (pickups, ATVs, motorcycles) through a simplified procedure. The price will be determined based on an expert report or appraisal that establishes the approximate market value'
, Shmyhal said.

The procedures for the disposal of military property have also been clarified. Now commanders will have the right to independently approve disposal acts if the value of the property does not exceed 1.7 million UAH.

'We are simplifying the disposal of military property. The updated algorithm will allow commanders to independently approve unified disposal acts if the value of military property does not exceed 1.7 million UAH. The timelines for disposal will also be shortened. The specifics of the disposal of drones, ammunition, and their components will be regulated. We are minimizing the bureaucratic burden on combat units'
, the Minister of Defense added.

It is noteworthy that on August 15, Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting where three key issues were discussed.

Additionally, it is known that the battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 7 million hryvnias each.
