Zelensky and Trump conclude meeting in Florida: a conversation with Putin is expected.

According to ТСН: The meeting of Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in Florida has taken place and concluded. This was reported by the Italian publication Corriere della Sera, citing information from Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.

After the meeting, the presidents will hold a video conference with European leaders, including Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Significance of the negotiations

Tajani noted:

“Now we will see what happens; we will see if Putin accepts the proposals. Security issues are also extremely important to us Europeans. Europe has to play an important role: we must be united with the USA, as we can be a key partner in ending the war.”

A press conference of the leaders of the two countries is expected soon, as well as communication between the US president and Volodymyr Putin.

Let us recall that Donald Trump had previously expressed the opinion about the possibility of a quick end to the war.
