Prosecutor General Kravchenko on the release of NABU detective: The court will determine who is guilty

According to ТСН: Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko commented on the court's decision to release NABU detective Magamedrasulov from custody.

“The investigation continues, and only after its completion will the court determine who is guilty and who is not,” noted the prosecutor general.

He also noted that there has recently been a surge of manipulations surrounding this case, emphasizing that the prosecution is not subject to pressure.

“Prosecutors deemed the evidence collected by investigators sufficient for the announcement of suspicion of aiding a state aggressor and abuse of influence. This decision was made not in social networks and not in the offices of 'public figures', but within the framework of the criminal process. After the announcement of suspicion, the investigating judge chose a preventive measure - detention,” Kravchenko stated.

Kravchenko also emphasized that the likelihood of interference with the investigation by the suspects has decreased, so the prosecutors have appealed to the court to soften the preventive measure.

He commented on the deal with the investigation by the people's deputy from the banned 'OPZZH' Krystenko:

“It cannot be disclosed now - it contains data related to the security of the suspect and national security issues. But I will state clearly: the agreement does not mention the leadership of anti-corruption agencies. It has no connection to the 'Midas' operation. The facts reflected in it occurred long before any current events.”

Kravchenko also expressed his views on the criticism directed at him:

“The loudest accusations today come from the accused and suspects in criminal proceedings. And this does not seem like a 'fight for truth,' but rather an attempt to create informational pressure on prosecutors, the investigation, and the court, manipulating and hiding behind 'public opinion'. My position is simple: prosecutors comply with the norms of the law; the court establishes guilt or innocence; and social networks are not a platform for blackmailing the law enforcement and judicial system,” he added.

This case continues to spark lively discussions in society. Kravchenko emphasizes that the actions of the prosecution were based on evidence and legislation, not external pressure. In the difficult context of the fight against corruption and the defense of national security, such comments appear objective and reflect a desire to uphold law and order.
