The government allocated 609 million UAH for housing repair: which families will receive compensation.
According to ТСН: Approximately 9,000 Ukrainian families will be able to receive compensation for repairing housing damaged by Russia's aggression.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
She noted that the government allocated 609 million UAH to the Ministry of Community Development for the implementation of this program.
"This is money that will allow families to repair their homes. We are gradually restoring housing destroyed by the war and expanding the opportunities of the eRestoration program to ensure that assistance is provided more quickly," stated Sviridenko.
Simplification of the compensation procedure
The government has also simplified the procedure for obtaining compensation under the eRestoration program for shared ownership.
"Now, if one of the co-owners has left, is out of contact, or is not participating in the maintenance of the property, this will not hinder the receipt of assistance. Another co-owner will be able to apply for compensation through a simplified procedure without unnecessary delays," explained the Prime Minister.
She emphasized that this decision will allow people to start repairing damaged premises faster and return them to use, even in cases where it is impossible to obtain consent from all co-owners.
Yulia Sviridenko also reported that more than 116,000 families have received compensation for the reconstruction of damaged housing through the eRestoration program.
It should be noted that previously, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that significantly increases state assistance to families with children. According to this document, starting from January 1, 2026, the one-time payment upon the birth of a child will amount to 50,000 UAH.
These measures are important steps in supporting Ukrainian families affected by the war. The compensation program will help not only restore damaged housing but also provide financial stability for families in urgent need of assistance.
