The Armed Forces of Ukraine adopt a new domestic drone.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has allowed the use of domestic unmanned aerial complexes BATON in the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the BATON drones were created taking into account the needs of the military and with maximum simplicity and convenience of operation in combat conditions. They can operate in any weather: in frost and heat. The drones also have high dynamics and can catch up and attack enemy targets at high speed, the Ministry of Defense reported.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense allowed the use of the ground-based drone 'Logistics Snake' in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is designed to perform logistical and evacuation tasks at the front. The 'Logistics Snake' has a low profile, allowing it to remain unnoticed in the terrain. It also has sufficient mass and strength to evacuate people, cargo, and light vehicles from danger zones. In addition, additional modules can be installed on the 'Logistics Snake'.
It should be noted that this year, the Ministry of Defense allowed the use of more than 1,300 types of armaments and vehicles. Most of them are of Ukrainian production. The military is also implementing NATO standards for Ukrainian manufacturers.
