The report of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) contains information that on December 3 and 4, Russian forces seized most of the micro-district Zabalko (the southernmost part of Toretsk) and advanced south of Toretsk to the 'Tsentralna' mine and the surrounding waste heaps. Additionally, a representative of the Ukrainian brigade reported attacks by Russian forces in the Toretsk direction, conducted by groups of up to eight people using smoke cover and with the support of drones and artillery.
Earlier, we reported that Russian troops attempted to break through to the city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region again, but their armored vehicles and personnel were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders. Furthermore, on the night of November 28, the Defense Forces of Ukraine completed the expulsion of enemy troops from the city of Kupiansk. Analysts also reported advancements of enemy forces near Novomlynsk in Kharkiv region, Dalnie, Kostiantynivka, Rozdolne, Petrivka, and Kurakhove in Donetsk region.
